Food Pantry/Sock Box/Prescription Bottles – Thank you to everyone who has been contributing to these programs. On 11/22/17, with the help of Bette Chwalisz, we delivered another 95.44 pounds of canned food and other goods to the Woodstock Food Pantry. Added to this was 431 pounds of potatoes and squash from Howard McCarthy’s garden, for a 2017 total to date of 976.19 pounds!
Additionally, with the help of Kathy Putnam, a load of socks were dropped off in September at the Old Firehouse Assistance Center to assist the homeless. Many, many, prescription bottles have also been passed on to the Free Methodist Church here in Woodstock for use in Africa.
The Old Firehouse could use some adult socks, underwear, and personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bar soap. There is a list of items needed in the parish hall.
Once again, thank you for your support! Contact Vic Chudoba, at St. Ann’s (815) 338-0950, with any questions, or to donate.
