Children & Worship
Children and their formation are at the heart of St. Ann’s life. We include children as full members of the congregation in all respects, with deliberate attention given to children’s progressive participation in the worship liturgy.
Children are welcome to receive Communion along with the adults. But, if you wish your child to receive a blessing only, without receiving communion, simply have them cross their arms across their chest while at the altar rail – or you can just tell the server at the rail. We teach children about Communion in Godly Play. If you desire instruction for yourself or your child, just ask one of the Clergy.
Children’s activity kits are available at the entrance of the church, for use during the service–if you wish.
